Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of the Bizonik app. By creating an account, you accept them. Read them: they are short, and some of them protect you.
1. Publisher

2. What Bizonik does
Bizonik is a nutrition and training app built for muscle gain on a 100% plant-based diet. It lets you keep a food log, estimate calories and macronutrients, scan meals and products with artificial intelligence, find recipes and track your workouts.
3. No medical advice
Bizonik is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. The information in the app is general and educational. It does not replace a doctor, a dietitian or a qualified fitness professional.
Talk to a healthcare professional before changing your diet or starting a training programme, especially if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, under 18, have a medical condition (diabetes, kidney or heart disease, etc.), take medication, or have or have had an eating disorder.
Stop exercising and seek advice if you feel pain, faintness, unusual breathlessness or dizziness. In an emergency, call 112.
4. AI-generated content
Some features rely on artificial intelligence: recognising food in photos, reading product labels, estimating portions, calories and macronutrients, analysing a meal described in a few words.
These results are estimates. They can be wrong: a misidentified food, an overestimated portion, a missed ingredient. In particular:
- Always check the product label yourself if you have an allergy or intolerance, or want to confirm a product is plant-based. Bizonik does not guarantee the absence of allergens or animal-derived ingredients.
- Displayed calorie needs and targets are ballpark figures based on general formulas, not a prescription.
- You remain the sole judge of what you eat and how you train.
You can correct any estimate in the app.
5. Minimum age and account
You must be at least 16 years old to use Bizonik. By signing up, you confirm that you are.
You provide accurate information and keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for activity on your account. If you think someone else has used it, tell us.
6. Free use and subscriptions
Downloading Bizonik is free, and most of it stays free: all recipes, manual food log, water, weight, creating and sharing your recipes, and the full export of your data. Two subscriptions add features:
- Lapin: enhanced nutrition, including artificial intelligence analyses (meal photo, product scan, meal described in a few words), batch cooking, cooking mode, shopping for several people and nutrition statistics.
- Gorille: everything in Lapin, plus training (programmes, guided workouts, history) and the daily score.
The exact content, duration and price of each plan are shown in the app and on the App Store before purchase, taxes included.
Payment. Subscriptions are bought and paid for with your Apple ID (in-app purchase). Payment is charged to your Apple account when you confirm the purchase. Apple is the seller and handles billing.
Automatic renewal. Your subscription renews automatically for the same duration and price unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Renewal is charged within the 24 hours before the end of the period. If the price changes, Apple informs you in advance and, where the law requires, asks for your agreement.
Cancellation. Cancel at any time in your iPhone settings: Settings, then your name, then Subscriptions, then Bizonik. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid, and you keep access until then. Deleting the app or your account does not cancel the subscription.
Free trial. If a free trial is offered, it turns into a paid subscription when it ends, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before. Any unused part of a free trial is forfeited if you purchase a subscription during the trial.
Refunds. Refunds are handled by Apple under its terms. You can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. The right of withdrawal applicable to App Store purchases is handled by Apple under its terms and conditions.
Restoring purchases. If you change device or reinstall the app, use Restore Purchases in the app with the same Apple ID.
7. What you agree not to do
- Use Bizonik for illegal purposes or to harm other people.
- Upload photos or content you don’t own, or that show other people without their consent.
- Try to access other users’ data, bypass security measures, scrape content or overload the service.
- Resell or share your access.
In case of a serious breach, we may suspend or delete your account, after warning you except in an emergency.
8. Your content
Your photos, food log and recipes remain yours. You allow us to store and process them, including through our AI providers, solely to provide the service to you. This permission ends when you delete the content or your account.
Two exceptions, which you choose yourself: when you scan a product, its sheet (barcode, ingredients, nutrition values, never your photo or name) joins the shared product database, and a food you add to the catalogue stays available for other people’s recipes; this product information stays in Bizonik after your account is deleted, with no link to you. And if you share a recipe by link, anyone with the link can see it until you cut the link.

9. Intellectual property
The app, its name, logo, texts, recipes, programmes and visuals belong to the publisher or its partners. You get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use them for as long as you use the app. Any copying or reuse beyond that requires our written consent.
10. Service availability
We do our best to keep Bizonik running, but interruptions can happen (maintenance, provider outage, connectivity). Features may change. If a feature included in your subscription is permanently removed, we tell you and you can cancel.
11. Liability
Bizonik is a tracking aid. You remain responsible for your food choices and your training.
To the extent permitted by law, the publisher is not liable for the consequences of an inaccurate AI estimate you did not check, for use of the app contrary to these terms or to the health warnings, or for interruptions beyond its control.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes the publisher’s liability for intentional misconduct or gross negligence, for damage to life, physical integrity or health, or the rights you have as a consumer under the law of your country of residence, including the legal guarantee of conformity for digital content and services.
12. Apple
These terms are concluded between you and the publisher, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app. If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund any purchase price. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple is not responsible for any claims relating to the app (product liability, failure to meet legal requirements, consumer protection, third-party intellectual property). You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a US Government embargo and are not listed on any US Government list of prohibited or restricted parties. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you. Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies to anything these terms do not cover.
13. Ending the contract
You can stop at any time by deleting your account in the app (Account, then Delete my account), after cancelling your subscription in iOS settings. We may discontinue the service with 30 days’ notice. In that case, no further renewal is charged and you can export your data before closure.
14. Changes
We may update these terms. For a significant change, we notify you in the app at least 30 days before it takes effect. If you disagree, you can cancel before that date.
15. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by Hungarian law. If you are a consumer living in another EU country, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of your country of residence, and you may bring proceedings before the courts where you live.
If something goes wrong, write to us first at benjamin@webstratege.co: we look for an amicable solution. If that fails, you may use a consumer mediator or the competent conciliation body free of charge (in Hungary, the Pest County Conciliation Board, Pest Vármegyei Békéltető Testület).
